DGME Sign In: Step by Step With Troubleshooting

Most failed DGME sign in attempts have nothing to do with your password. They happen because Dollar General runs two separate login systems, and people type the right credentials into the wrong one. This page gets you into the correct portal on the first try.

Quick answer

For schedule and HR, sign in at webapps.dolgen.net/dgme2 with your Employee ID. For pay stubs and W2 forms, use paystubportal.com/dollargeneral instead.

Before You Type

Pick the right door first

Both portals look official, because both are official. However, they do not share passwords, so start by matching your task to the system.

Troubleshooting

DGME login problems and the exact fix

Match your error to the fix instead of retrying, because repeated wrong attempts can lock the account.

Good Habits

Keep your sign in safe

Phishing pages copy the DGME look to collect Employee IDs. These habits protect yours.

Always

  • Check the address ends in dolgen.net before typing anything
  • Type the portal address yourself or use a saved bookmark
  • Sign out on shared store devices
  • Reset the password at the first sign of trouble

Never

  • Enter your ID on a site that is not dolgen.net or the official pay stub portal
  • Share your password with anyone, including managers
  • Follow login links from unexpected texts or emails
  • Keep guessing after two failed attempts
FAQ

Sign in questions, answered

The questions employees ask most about the DGME sign in.

Why does my DGME login keep failing?
First confirm you are on webapps.dolgen.net/dgme2 and not the pay stub portal, because the two systems use separate credentials. Then check that your Employee ID has no spaces and your password is current. After three wrong attempts the account can lock, so reset the password instead of guessing.
What is my DGME username?
Your username is your Employee ID (EID), usually 7 to 8 digits. It appears on your onboarding paperwork and pay stubs, and your store manager can look it up for you.
Can I stay signed in to DGME?
No. The portal ends sessions after a period of inactivity for security, so you sign in each time. Avoid saving your password on shared store devices.
Is the login different for former employees?
The main portal closes shortly after you leave. However, pay stubs and W2 forms remain available on the pay stub portal with your old Employee ID, so use that system instead.
