Your pay lives on its own system. The paystub portal is separate from the main DGME portal, with its own login, and it is the only place to view pay stubs and download W2 forms. This guide covers every pay task from first registration to former employee access.

Why your DGME password fails here

This is the single most common pay stub problem, so it goes first. Dollar General runs two portals, and each has its own credentials.

Sign in with your Employee ID and password or PIN.
Open the Payroll or Pay Stub section.
Choose the pay period, then view, download, or print it.

First time on the pay portal? You may need to register separately here and set a 4 digit PIN, even if you already use the main DGME portal. Have your Employee ID ready.

W2 forms land on this same portal, so no new account is needed when tax season arrives.

W2 steps

Sign in to the pay stub portal as usual.
Open the tax documents area and choose the tax year.
View or download the W2 PDF; a laptop handles the download more smoothly than a phone.
Prefer a mailed copy? Confirm your mailing address is current before the January cutoff.

Deadline to know: Dollar General releases W2 forms by January 31 each year. If yours has not appeared by early February, call the ERC at 1 855 275 3447.

How do I check my Dollar General pay stub online?

Go to paystubportal.com/dollargeneral, sign in with your Employee ID and password or PIN, open the Pay Stub section, choose the pay period, then view, download, or print it.

Why is my pay stub not showing on payday?

The system often updates after overnight processing, so check again later in the morning. If it is still missing after a full day, confirm with your store manager that the pay period processed, or call the ERC at 1 855 275 3447.

Is the paystub portal login the same as DGME?

No. The pay stub portal is a separate system with its own password or PIN, so your DGME portal password will not work there. You may need to register on it separately even if you already use DGME.

Can former employees use the paystub portal?

Yes. It stays open after you leave, with your old Employee ID. If the password expired, use Forgot Password and verify with your Social Security Number. W2 access for former employees usually opens in late January.

Where is my W2 on the paystub portal?

W2 forms appear in the tax documents area of the portal by January 31 each year. Choose the tax year, then view or download the PDF, which is easier on a laptop than a phone.
